"Taken Away" is the debut film by urban historian Christopher Brown. It tells the story of Boston's historic and culturally diverse West End neighborhood, destroyed during "urban renewal" of the 1950s. This project was created as a Master's degree Capstone project and is currently on exhibit in a shortened form at Boston's West End Museum. "Taken Away" received the Best First Time Director award from the Berlin Indie Film Festival in 2024.
